During our stressful visit to the perinatologist we weren't really thinking about the gender of the baby and we almost forgot to ask. But thankfully, before we left the room we remembered....and according to the doctor, we are following in the footsteps of all of our friends who have recently had children and will be beginning our brood with a BOY!! Although Ben will tell you that he really wanted a girl because according to him there would be less pressure/stress, his initial reaction at the doctor's office revealed his true feelings. He is estatic that we are having a boy and can't keep the smirk off his face when ever it is mentioned! In the end, we are both just thankful that the baby is healthy.

Congratulations!!! We're so excited for you both!!! I didn't realize that I've been holding my breath and hoping for you guys all this time until I saw in my inbox that you've started a blog, then suddenly I exhaled and knew what it was going to say. Well, now I'm glad we're in LA and we get to share the experience with you both. Let's celebrate!

Well, since my very drunk husband and I called last night, I wasn't going to post but I love getting posts so I thought I would spread the love.
I cannot think of two people who are more deserving of this. Actually, I should say that TyRONE (just kidding about the name by the way) is deserving of you two. You will be great with him and I think we can already tell what a strong boy he is. Tell Ben he might have his work cut out for him with this little one. He might be doing his own cloning.
We love you guys and hope that we can plan something else to do in late June. Gabe would love to help break you in.

Wow! What awesome news. Congratulations!!! You will continue to be in our prayers Jen. Just think "Big Ben and Lil Ben"- beautiful. However, will you not corrupt this child by raising him an Angels and Lakers fan and expose him to his NorCal roots. Bless you all.
